| The test lab comprises two parts, the old plant area part and the new plant area part. Of them the old plant area test building covers an area of 400m². It mainly includes the test of cooper, aluminium rod and rubber cable and the chemical analysis of raw material. The new plant area test lab is the key part of the whole test centre, with a total area of 1400m², divided into fire test building ,high voltage hall and test building , responsible for all the sample and type test of the products. The whole test building is surrounded by beautiful environment and has well-found equipment, with total about 300 sets of test devices. It has the complete set raw material and finished products sample preparation and sampling processing equipment, rubber plastic and metal material mechanical property test device, complete set of low temperature device, voltage withstand device, material contaminant micropore test device, dielectric loss test device, current rating test and high voltage test hall and etc. Of them the imported devices are the Partial Discharge test instrument from Hippo in U.S.A., the rheometer from Haake in Germany, the ROHS test instrument in Spectro in Germany, the toxicity index test instrument from FTT in England and etc. The fire test building is equipped with the bunch, fire resistant, smoke density, single vertical and halogen acid gas test instrument. There are 10 test personnel in the test center, all of them have the Associate and above degree, about 5 engineers, 3 assistant engineers, and all the test personnel have the national approved certificates, the soft and hard ware have already reached the top level in its industry. The test lab conducts the test strictly according to the available international and national standard and possesses the ability of type test of the rubber sheath cable, low voltage power cable, control cable and etc. At present the test lab has been appointed as the Fire Product Cable test station by the Jiangsu Province Fire Product Station, also it undertakes the sampled cable commission test of Jiangsu Province Product Supervision and Inspection Centre related classification society Nanjing Sub-society
